Transit Authority favors center lane option for Geary bus
One of the alternatives to the Geary Bus Rapid Transit (Geary BRT) plan was chosen for extra scrutiny in an environmental study by the San Francisco County Transportation Authority (SFCTA) recently, and one of the six-member Citizens Advisory Committee (CAC) working with them has resigned in protest.

On Saturday mornings at Bercut Field in Golden Gate Park, participants in the James S. Brady Therapeutic Riding Program for children with special needs gather to receive riding lessons, while learning and developing friendships with the horses, group leaders and other riders.

National recreation area celebrates its 40th anniversary
The Golden Gate National Recreation Area (GGNRA), which is celebrating its 40th anniversary this year, has the challenge of bringing the national park experience to an urban center, San Francisco, the densest city in the state.
