Robbery: March 16, 1:19 a.m., Balboa Street and Sixth Avenue
The victim was waiting for a bus when two males approached. One of the suspects pointed a gun at the victim and demanded his property.

After giving the suspect his property, the victim tried to wrestle the gun away from the suspect but he was punched by the other suspect. When the victim tried to run away, he was shot in the back.

The victim was transported to the hospital for medical care. The suspects are still at large.

Auto Theft, Marijuana Possession: March 24, 1:51 a.m., Geary Boulevard and Fifth Avenue
Officers responded to a call about two males running into traffic while breaking the windows of parked cars. After arriving at the scene, officers could see a large crowd in front of a bar on the corner with several people involved in an argument. Witnesses pointed out the suspects.

Upon request of identification, one of the suspects told the officers that his wallet was in his car and directed the officers to his car. After running a license plate check, it was discovered that the car was reported stolen.

When the officers were doing an inventory search of the vehicle, they discovered a large zip-lock baggie filled with suspected marijuana in the trunk. The suspects were transported to Richmond Station and booked.

Aggravated Assault: March 25, 9:26 a.m., Lake Street and Funston Avenue
After a minor traffic accident at 19th Avenue and Noriega Street, one of the parties involved in the altercation refused to stop to exchange information with the other driver.

The victim followed the suspect's vehicle into the Richmond District. After the suspect was stopped at a traffic light, the victim pulled in front of the suspect's vehicle and approached the driver to talk. After refusing to talk to the victim, the victim punctured a tire on the suspect's truck.

The suspect tried to escape, but backed into a vehicle behind him before putting the truck back in drive and striking the victim's vehicle again. The victim then punctured two more tires on the suspect's vehicle.

When police officers arrived, the suspect's truck was parked on the side of the road. After a search of the vehicle, officers discovered a shotgun and ammunition on the floorboard behind the truck's from seat. The suspect was booked.

Battery: March 10, 1:57 a.m., 300 Block of Seventh Avenue
A man and woman parked on Seventh Avenue and went to a restaurant for something to eat. When they returned to the car, there were three males jumping up and down on the vehicle. The victim asked the three suspects what they were doing.

"We're jumping on your car. This is our block," one of the suspects said.

One of the suspects then hit the victim and the other two suspect joined in on the assault. The woman who was with the victim ran back to the restaurant and called police.

When officers arrived, they arrested one of the suspects, who was still on the scene. The other two suspects had entered a nearby apartment building.

There was extensive damage to the victim's vehicle, with the roof and hood being caved in and numerous dents were visible on the side of the vehicle.

The suspect was transported to Richmond Station and booked. A search for the other two suspects was to no avail.

Marijuana Possession for Sale: March 1, 2:15 a.m., Rossi Avenue and Lone Mountain Terrace
An officer on patrol discovered two males sleeping in the front seats of a vehicle that had its engine running. The vehicle's radio was blaring and the officer could smell the strong scent of marijuana emanating from the car.

The officer, who was unable to wake the suspects from outside the vehicle, had to open the vehicle's doors to turn off the engine and physically shake the suspects to get them to respond. When asked by the officer what they were doing, one of the suspects said they "were just smoking a blunt," which is a joint comprised of tobacco and marijuana.

A large amount of suspected marijuana and a digital scale were discovered in the 18-year-old suspect's vehicle. The owner of the vehicle was transported to Richmond Station for booking. The suspected drugs were transported to the police department's narcotics drop box at the Hall of Justice.

After-hour Alcohol Sales: March 18, 2:09 a.m., 3800 Block of Geary Boulevard
An officer on patrol noticed a large crowd of people still inside a bar and restaurant after the legal time limit for serving alcohol. When he went inside the establishment, he discovered a number of people who still had open alcohol containers at their tables.

The manager of the business was issued a citation for serving alcohol after hours.
