Artists to Open Studios
Richmond District event Oct. 16, Oct. 17

In October, artists from across the Richmond District will open up their studios to exhibit and sell their creative endeavors.

Open Studios, sponsored by Artspan, is a citywide event throughout October to highlight local artists. Artists in the Richmond, Sunset and Marina districts will display their wares on Saturday, Oct. 16 and Sunday, Oct. 17, from  11 a.m. to 6 p.m.

During the weekend, artists who are members of the Park Presidio Art Association are donating a portion of their sales to support the Richmond District Neighborhood Center’s children and youth art programs. Six of the art association’s members will be displaying their work at the neighborhood center, located at 741 30th Ave.

For more information about Open Studios, call (415) 835-3150 or go to Artspan's website at www.sfopenstudios.com.
