Assault, Aggravated with Other Weapon: Sept. 19, 2:30 a.m., Geary Boulevard and 4th Avenue
A 20-year-old student at the University of San Francisco was walking on Geary Boulevard near Fifth Avenue with two friends when one of two unknown suspects bumped one of the victims with his shoulder.

"What's up?" said the victim.

"You got beef?" said one of the suspects before yelling to alert four other suspects who were walking on the other side of the street. All of the suspects were males in their early 20s.

After negotiations to calm the  situation failed, one of the suspects punched the victim in the jaw. The victim was then kicked behind his left knee and fell to the ground, where he told the suspects that he did not have a problem with them.

He was then dragged to the curb, kicked in the head and beaten by all of the suspects.

The suspects fled and the victim's friends transported him to St. Mary's Hospital, where a doctor said he would be fine. The victim said he would not be able to recognize the assailants.

Aggravated Assault, with Knife: Sept. 26, 6:35 p.m., 700 Block of 28th Avenue
A 50-year-old woman parked across the street from her residence on 28th Avenue and was walking toward her house when she noticed a pick-up truck double-parked in front of the house.

As she approached, one of the passengers got out - a woman whom the victim knew - along with a male passenger.

"What are you doing here?" the victim asked the woman.

"I've been waiting for you for awhile," the suspect said while raising a knife with her right hand.

The suspect proceeded to stab the victim once in the left side of the stomach before getting back into the truck with her male accomplice and driving away.

"I've been stabbed!" the victim yelled. The victim said she had no idea why the 45-year-old suspect stabbed her.

Friends of the victim transported her to St. Mary's Hospital, where she was treated and released.

Burglary, Non-residential, Unlawful Entry: Sept. 22, between 8:15 a.m. and 10:30 a.m., 3200 Block of California Street
Three women, members of a community fitness center, reported that their lockers had been broken into inside the women's locker room. Police who investigated the incident found that all three victims had left their keys to their lockers unattended while attending an exercise class - leaving their belongings unattended for a period of time.

The security director at the community center was reviewing security footage to see if anyone suspicious had entered the community center.

Police concluded that the victims' belongings were taken while the lockers were left unattended.

The victims were given a case number, a loss form and were urged to contact their credit card companies.
