Suspicious Occurrence: Dec. 9, 3 a.m. to 6 a.m., 100 Font Boulevard
A woman met a man at the "Occupy encampment" at SF State University and went to her apartment with him to share some wine.

When the woman awakened in her apartment, the man was gone and her clothes were removed. The woman said she is a heavy sleeper.

Warrant Arrest: Dec. 8, 12:20 p.m., Rivera Street and Great Highway
The owner of a vehicle detained a woman who was trying to steal his car. Officers arrived at the scene and determined the suspect had an outstanding warrant for her arrest so she was apprehended and booked.

Possession of Stolen Property, Warrant Arrest: Dec. 8, 7:07 p.m., 3200 Block of 20th Avenue
A man whose guitar was stolen a week earlier found it for sale on Craigslist. The victim's friend made arrangements to meet the seller in the parking lot of a shopping center and notified police, who went with the friend to the rendezvous.

Officers arrested the seller of the guitar for being in possession of stolen property and for an outstanding warrant.

False Imprisonment, Battery, Conspiracy: Dec. 7, 2:26 p.m., 2200 Block of 14th Avenue
A girl at school was surrounded by five girls who demanded to know if the victim liked a boy that one of the five girl's liked.

The girl feared for her safety and started walking away when one of the suspects hit her in the back of the head.

The five suspects were identified and cited.

Battery: Dec. 7, 6:51 p.m., Ninth Avenue and Irving Street
A man was standing on the sidewalk talking to a friend when the male suspect approached and started interrupting the conversation and standing real close.

The victim asked the suspect to leave him alone when the suspect punched the victim in the arm.

Officers discovered the suspect in a nearby coffee shop and transported him to Taraval Station, where he was cited for battery and released.

Battery on a Police Officer, Resisting Arrest, Trespassing: Dec. 7, 5:32 p.m., 1300 Block of La Playa
Officers responded to a restaurant about a man who refused to leave. As the man was leaving the restaurant, he called the officer a coward and asked what the penalty would be for fighting with the officer.

The officer took preemptive action and grabbed the man's arm to put him in handcuffs when a struggle ensued. The suspect was subdued and arrested but the officer suffered a head injury in the struggle.

Suspicious Occurrence: Dec. 6, 5 p.m., 3100 Block of Ortega Street
A 13-year-old girl was walking down the street. A van was parked in a parking space nearby. When the girl passed, the driver of the van, a male between 40 - 45 years of age, asked her to get inside.

The girl ran away.

Warrant Arrest: Dec. 6, 5 p.m., 1300 Block of 41st Avenue
A report came into dispatch concerning a group of roommates who were fighting. When they arrived, they determined that no one wanted to press charges, but one of the combatants had an outstanding warrant for his arrest so he was taken into custody.

Trespassing: Dec. 6, 10:51 a.m., 1400 Block of 11th Avenue
The daughter of a woman who passed away moved into the woman's home but the trustee for the property had her removed because she was in violation of a court order to vacate.

It was determined that the court order was still in effect and the suspect was arrested.

Theft by Trick: Between Nov. 15 and Dec. 3, 2400 Block of 23rd Avenue
A woman who met her boyfriend three-and-a-half months earlier cashed a check for him. When the check bounced, the boyfriend said it was a clerical error and that it would be straightened out. The check was written out from his father's business account. The woman cashed another check for her boyfriend, which also bounced.

The woman called the man's father, who said his checks had been stolen and that he had not seen his son for several weeks.

Domestic Violence, Warrant Arrest: Dec. 2, 11 p.m., 700 Block of Irving Street
A homeless couple, which had been together for six years, was drinking when an argument erupted. The man struck the woman and kicked her before officers arrived.

The man had more than $1,200 in outstanding warrants. He was arrested and an emergency protective order was issued.

Vandalism: Dec. 2, 2:45 a.m., 2300 Block of 19th Avenue
A gas station employee was on break and told a customer to come back in 15 minutes. The customer responded by kicking, and breaking, the door.

A witness detained the suspect, who was cited.
