Ortega Library Rebuild Delayed

After the ceremonial groundbreaking for a new Ortega Branch Library last month, a member of the public filed a permit appeal that could delay the process by challenging the permit to demolish and rebuild the site at 38th Avenue and Ortega Street.

McCoppin Square Design Gets OK from Rec. and Park

The San Francisco Recreation and Park Commission unanimously approved new conceptual and design developments for the Sunset District's McCoppin Square, located at 24th Avenue and Taraval Street, on July 16, paving the way for a $5.3 million upgrade of the eight-acre site.

Sunset Nursery Rebuilding

The Sunset Cooperative Nursery School will hold a celebration to say goodbye to its current building on Aug. 1.
